Thank you for viewing my RomeBlog, Tutta la Vita…forever. The ultimate for Rick and me would be to board a plane for Rome on Rick’s Birthday, 12-31-2010. First, we had to clear our calendars. It was a grueling ten days. Finally, the Red Sea parted. We cleared our calendars, bought our tickets one day before and packed our carry on luggage. This was Rick’s first introduction to Italy. As an artist, art is first and Rome is the beginning. For me, food is first and all else follows. I would like to share our journey with you, day by day, meal by meal, sculpture by sculpture, fountain by fountain and site by site. I traveled with my favorite blogger’s best lists of food destinations and sites to see. Day by day we trekked through neighborhoods, antiquities, museums seeking the best of Rome. The contacts we made with our personal tour guides we consider our friends.  We had nine days and had to pack them full. We did. Here is our travel blog.
